April 1, 2012 :: Hi Everyone!
We are finally working on our second album! It's been a LONG time coming! I am so excited to finally hear all of Karli's songs whenever I want to instead of having to invite her over and force her to perform a little concert for me!! lol
Some of you may know, but recording can be VERY expensive, so we have started up a little campaign to help raise money on the website indiegogo.com! If you want to preorder our album you can do so here :http://www.indiegogo.com/Drowning-Ophelias-2nd-Release

October 27, 2011 :: Lots of exciting things happening this fall/winter!
On November 5th we are playing at the Celtic Hall for the Undiscovered Local tour! This is there first show of the series and is featuring other amazing artists such asSamantha Jo, Ashley Weir, Special Guests Bryan Finlay, and Edmonton Undiscovered Season 2 Winner Ashley Eger. It's an all ages show and tickets are $15 ($5 of which goes back to the artist!) which you can purchase from us, email me(Candace) at band@drowningophelia.com to get yours!
Christmas is around the corner (ok maybe a couple corners) and we are going to submit one of our Christmas songs to radio! We have set up a poll on our Facebook Page please go and vote for your favorite! The voting is between Silent Night, Little Dummer Boy , and our medley of God Rest Thee Merry Gentlemen & We three Kings (you can listen to them on our music player!) Voting ends October 30th so get your vote in now!! :)
July 21, 2011 :: Just finished playing opening night of Edmonton The Musical! A little late updating our website sorry everyone! There are 4 more shows left, Friday and Saturday at 7:00 pm and Sunday at 1:00 and 7:00 pm! It's a very unique musical in which they have intermingled live bands with a theater production! 26 of Edmonton's amazing bands and a great cast and crew! March 1, 2011 :: Hey everyone! We're excited to announce that we have joined up with the ID VIP team here in Edmonton and are apart of their "Sun, Snow and Our Show" concert Series! The launch party/concert is THIS Saturday, March 5th, at Rabbit Hill Snow Resort. There will be 6 bands and 6 DJs playing on 2 stages. $30 for lift tickets, ski/snowboard rentals, the show and VIP pass no line no cover into the afterparty at the Treasury downtown Edmonton! January 5, 2011:: Happy New Year everyone!! So lots has been happening with Drowning Ophelia! As you can see we've just launched a brand new website! Go to the contacts page and send us an email letting us know what you think :) We had a photo shoot with Barbara Heintzman (Photography By Barbara) this summer and she had some awesome ideas and took amazing photots! We are hard at work on our sophmore album right now! We have a plethora of great new songs and can't wait to make them come to life! If you want to keep updated on our progress and music join our mailing list below!
